National Geographic Telescope eq3 130/650 Newtonian -moon filter, mobileadapter
This telescope gathers a lot of light with its 130 mm aperture, making objects inside and even outside our solar system visible. The relatively short focal length (650 mm) makes the telescope very compact and a specialist for wide-field observations like open star clusters and nebulae. This telescope makes the Milky Way in summer, the Pleiades in winter and the Great Orion Nebula and other star clusters throughout the year easy observation objects.
If the sturdy equatorial mount is pointed to the North Star, Polaris, tracking objects by hand is easy.
Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.
